Thatch Winery offers a great setting for company outings, off-site planning meetings or team building activities. With private rooms, WiFi throughout the building and projection screens, there is a perfect space for just about any event! 

Kick off a special project, or reward your employees with a day of food, wine and relaxing.

The Tavern Room

The recently redesigned Tavern Room can accommodate smaller meetings and gatherings of up to 20 people. The space features a large screen available for displaying presentations, documents or photos.

The Loft

The newly renovated Loft offers ample seating at banquet tables, a large bar, and a projection wall. Relax near the fireplace or take a break and enjoy our Giant Scrabble Board and other numerous board games in this space.

Patios and Gardens

In the warmer months, our patios provide a wonderful outdoor option to enjoy the sun and take in the sights and sounds of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We also have three fire-pits for cooler Spring and Fall days. This space lends itself to a wonderful outdoor option for private tastings, lunches and more.

Complimentary Kitchen

A commercial kitchen is located off the Tavern Room and contains all your caterer’s needs to prepare for your special day (oven, 6-burner range, grill, refrigerator, freezer, triple sink, dishwasher, prep tables, and more).

Indoor Capacity

Our Loft, Tasting Room, and Tavern Room can accommodate parties up to 100 guests, comfortably.

Outdoor Capacity

Our slate patio, Terrace Gardens, two-tiered deck or lawn are ideal outdoor areas for an event of 150 guests.

Can we bring outside food?

You may bring outside food, We also have light snacks for sale in the tasting room.

Can I bring in my own alcohol?

All wine consumed at your event must be purchased from Thatch Winery. If you would like to serve other alcoholic beverages, please consult your caterer or we can direct you on how to obtain a banquet license yourself from the Virginia ABC.
